Fifty celebs and leaders who define or have experienced Fargo, ND are approached and asked to answer approximately ten questions that attempt to extract and define which elements of Fargo most affected them. The goal is to evoke a reminiscence of Fargo, including an image or emotion that defines the city for them. At this stage in the project, I will go around the city, collecting fine art photographs of the images, places, and described elements of the city. These will then be laid out in a coffeetable book that features a double page spread for each participant. Each double page spread will include a photograph, an autograph and brief bio of each leader or celeb, showcasing the accomplishments of these people on whom Fargo has left a lasting impression. Excerpts from survey answers will be included and laid out as part of the leader/celeb feature-ette, opposite the related fine art photograph. |
