ZELDA FITZGERALD PROJECTA Study...A Script |
|
The Concept: A one- to two-person play (or book) based on the life, love, and complexities of Zelda Fitzgerald, with a particular focus on her marriage to F. Scott Fitzgerald, the influences of the culture of her time, her diagnosis of "mental illness," and the obvious creativity that flourished in the relationship of extremes. Was it fate, true love, destiny...despite all the issues - control, mental illness, creative competition and jealousy, romance and glamour - Scott and Zelda remained connected, imprisioned, and indebted to eachother to the bitter end. Their life story was romantic, tragic, and legendary, and their story lives on well beyond their tragic deaths.
